It was love at first sight. ๐Ÿ’–

The moment the folks at the Saskatchewan Science Centre invited us for a chat, a few years ago, to discuss building a mini model home in their facility that would help kids learn about home-building practices, everyone on our crew was INSTANTLY in love with the idea.

Have you maybe seen the mini model home we built at the Saskatchewan Science Centre yet? (See the first image in this post.)

If yes, did you know that, in building it, we actually used the same materials we use for building any new Munro Home? (For example, we used the Blue Skin VP100 Wrap on this home. For more about the Blue Skin VP100 Wrap, please click this link.)

If you haven’t seen the above home yet, consider stopping by the Saskatchewan Science Centre one of these days.

And if you send us a picture of your family by our mini model home via FB message, we’ll enter you into a draw for a kid-sized Munro Homes bunnyhug or t-shirt (see the last two images in this post; no size selection available, sorry; merch sent at random).

Thank you again to the Saskatchewan Science Centre for inviting us to help you educate kids on how one of the places where some of our best memories โ€” our homes โ€” come to be.

And a big thank you to all of our trades-workers and suppliers for donating the time and materials needed to make this wonderful idea a reality.
